There’s a certain softness to the Sleeper office, which makes perfect sense. Given the brand is known best for its sumptuous pajamas and throw-on linen dresses, creating a comfortable interior was central to Varetsa and Zubarieva’s ethos for their HQ. “We wanted to create a space where you are inspired to go and be there—but also feel a little bit relaxed,” says Zubarieva. Fittingly, the centerpiece of the office is a sink-into sectional velvet chocolate couch, flanked by a green marble table of their own design. When they were all in the office together, sometimes the staff would stay after hours to watch episodes of The Bachelorette on the television screen in front. (“That was our favorite,” reminisces Zubarieva. ) In fact, brown hues—which are known for their grounding effect—are prominent throughout, from the hardware floors to leathered chairs, adding an air of overall warmth. “It’s a bright and cozy place to be,” says Varetsa.
